The University of Stirling – Ras Al Khaimah Campus successfully organized the Smart Money Management Workshop on 1st October 2024 in collaboration with KFI Global as part of its academic and financial literacy enhancement initiatives.
The workshop focused on developing students’ understanding of personal finance management and equipping them with practical skills related to budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and responsible financial decision-making. Students were introduced to essential financial planning concepts and strategies aimed at promoting long-term financial stability and positive financial habits.
Industry experts from KFI Global shared valuable insights into managing personal finances effectively within today’s dynamic economic environment. The session explored topics including financial goal setting, expense tracking, savings strategies, investment awareness, credit management, and the importance of financial discipline in achieving personal and professional success.
Students gained practical exposure to real-world financial scenarios and learned how informed financial decisions can contribute toward improved financial wellbeing and future career preparedness. The workshop also emphasized the significance of financial literacy among young professionals and highlighted emerging trends in personal finance and wealth management.
The interactive session encouraged active student participation through discussions, practical examples, and financial planning activities, enabling students to strengthen their confidence and awareness in managing personal finances responsibly.
