The University of Stirling – Ras Al Khaimah Campus successfully organized a guest lecture on “Artificial Intelligence in Finance” on 28th October 2023. The session was delivered by Mr. Hassan H, Investment Advisor specializing in Investment Advisory and Strategy, who shared valuable industry insights into the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the financial sector.
The lecture focused on the transformative impact of AI technologies in modern financial services and explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping investment strategies, financial analysis, risk management, and customer engagement processes. Students were introduced to key concepts including algorithmic trading, predictive analytics, machine learning applications, automation in finance, fraud detection, and AI-driven financial decision-making systems.
Drawing from real-world industry experiences, Mr. Hassan H discussed the increasing integration of AI tools within banking, investment advisory, and financial technology ecosystems. The session highlighted how financial institutions leverage AI to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, portfolio management, and strategic forecasting within highly competitive markets.
Students also gained exposure to emerging industry trends related to financial technology (FinTech), data-driven investment strategies, ethical considerations in AI adoption, and the future of AI-enabled financial services.
