The University of Stirling – Ras Al Khaimah Campus successfully organized a Workshop on MongoDB on 4th March 2023. The session was conducted by Mr. Masud Reza, Full Stack Developer at GiroFintech Ltd., Dubai, UAE, who shared valuable technical insights and practical knowledge related to modern database management systems and software development practices.
The workshop focused on introducing students to MongoDB, one of the leading NoSQL database platforms widely used in modern web applications, cloud computing environments, and data-driven software systems. Students were provided with hands-on exposure to MongoDB architecture, data storage techniques, document-oriented databases, querying methods, and real-world applications within software engineering and fintech industries.
Mr. Masud Reza discussed the importance of database management in modern application development and demonstrated how MongoDB supports scalability, flexibility, and efficient data handling in contemporary business and technology environments. The session also explored the role of MongoDB within full-stack development, backend systems, and cloud-based applications.
Through practical examples and technical demonstrations, students gained insights into database creation, data retrieval, schema design, CRUD operations, and integration techniques used in modern software projects. The workshop encouraged interactive participation and enabled students to strengthen both their theoretical understanding and practical technical skills.
