Mind Matters – Wellbeing Week

As part of the university’s commitment to promoting student wellbeing and fostering a supportive campus community, the Community Club hosted Mind Matters – Wellbeing Week on 24 and 30 April 2026. The initiative focused on raising awareness of mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing while encouraging students to adopt healthy lifestyles, build resilience, and access appropriate support resources.

The first event of the week featured an engaging online mental health awareness talk titled “Mindful Minds”, delivered by Ms. Indrani Sinha, Wellness Consultant, Holistic Coach and Therapist, on 24 April 2026. The session provided students with valuable insights into mindfulness, emotional wellbeing, stress management, and positive coping strategies, helping them develop practical approaches to maintaining a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and personal wellbeing. Through expert guidance and interactive discussions, the event successfully encouraged students to prioritise their mental health and foster a culture of wellbeing across the university community.

The event on campus on 30th April featured a range of engaging activities and awareness initiatives focused on mental, emotional, and physical health, encouraging students to adopt healthy lifestyles, build resilience, and seek support when needed. Through interactive sessions and community-driven engagement, the programme provided students with valuable resources and practical strategies to enhance their overall wellbeing and academic success.
