The University of Stirling – Ras Al Khaimah Campus is delighted to look back on the successful Orientation Week held from September 5th to September 11th, 2023. This week marked the beginning of an incredible journey for our new students, filled with excitement, curiosity, and endless possibilities.
Orientation Week Highlights:
The week commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr. Richa Arora, followed by her inspiring speech that set a positive tone for the academic year.
We were honored by the presence of esteemed guests including Mr. Taher Kapasi from ACCA and Mr. Andrea Di Gregorio from Reem, who shared their invaluable knowledge and insights.
Under the guidance of Mr. C.T. Sunil and through activities led by Dr. Abhinanda Barman and Shanthi Menon (SFHEA), students were immersed in learning and showcased their entrepreneurial skills.
Chief Guest and Judge Dr. Hisham Safadi, along with esteemed judges Roula Al Sibai, Graciela Garcia, and Fady, contributed to the enriching experience of our students during the Pitch-Perfect activity.
The tireless efforts of the university’s team made Orientation Day a grand and memorable event, setting a precedent for the academic excellence and community spirit that define our campus.
